Peptide research, plainly explained.

Laboratory handling guides, purity testing explained, and straight answers to the questions we get asked most. Everything here is written for laboratory and research use — you won't find dosing protocols, because we don't supply for human use.

Frequently asked

Common questions.

What's a peptide?
Short chain of amino acids (typically 2 to 50). They signal between cells. Different sequences trigger different biological responses. Insulin is a peptide.
Why lyophilised?
Freeze-drying removes water, leaving a shelf-stable powder. Ships ambient, reconstitutes in bacteriostatic water, stays viable for months at 2 to 8°C.
What does HPLC tested mean?
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography. Separates and quantifies what's actually in the vial. A purity figure of 98%+ means almost no impurities or degradation products.
What's a CoA?
Certificate of Analysis. A signed lab report showing what tests were run on a specific batch and the results. We're in the process of rolling CoAs out across the catalogue. They won't be available for every lot, but if you need one for a specific product, get in touch and we'll send what we have on file.
Are these for human use?
No. Everything we supply is for laboratory and research purposes only. We don't sell anything for human consumption.
Do you publish dosing information?
No. Everything we supply is for laboratory and research purposes, so dosing protocols would be out of scope and out of step with how the material is sold. What we do publish is handling: how to reconstitute a lyophilised vial, how to work out a concentration, and how to store it. For anything about what a peptide has been studied at, the peer-reviewed literature is the right reference.
