TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, the actin-sequestering protein found in most mammalian cell types.
Research interest centres on actin regulation, cell migration and angiogenesis. Thymosin beta-4 and its fragments appear frequently in wound-model, cardiac-tissue and corneal-repair literature. TB-500 is the short synthetic fragment most commonly used in place of the full 43 amino-acid protein.
Supplied lyophilised. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water for laboratory use; store at 2-8°C once in solution.
Work out the concentration for a given solvent volume, or read the full reconstitution guide.
Independently HPLC tested (98.8%). Certificate of Analysis available on request where one is on file for the lot. Supplied for laboratory and research purposes only. Not for human consumption, not for therapeutic or diagnostic use.
