What is Semax?
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide analogue of the ACTH(4-10) fragment, extended with a Pro-Gly-Pro tail for stability.
What it's studied for
Semax carries no corticotropic activity — the ACTH fragment it is based on is the non-hormonal portion. Published research is largely from Russian neuroscience groups and focuses on BDNF and NGF expression, and on ischaemia and cognition models.

Supplied lyophilised. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water for laboratory use; store at 2-8°C once in solution.
